afterabrief drive, thetireistoo badly dam‐
aged. The tiresealant cannot repair thetire
in this instance.
Damagedtires and tirepressurethat is too
lowcan significantlyimpair thebraking prop‐
erties and thehandling characteristics.

Do notcontinue driving.

Consult aqualified specialistworkshop.
In cases suchasthe one mentioned above,con‐
tact an authorized Mercedes-Benz Center.Or
call 1-800-FOR-MERCedes (in theUSA)or
1-800-387-0100(in Canada).

Correct thetirepressureifitisstillatleast
130kPa (1.3 bar/19psi).You will find the
values in theTireand Loading Information
placardonthe B-pillar on thedriver's side or
in thetirepressuretable in thefuel filler flap.
#
To increase thetirepressure: switch on
thetireinflation compressor.
#
To reduce the tirepressure: press pressure
release button 1 next to manometer 2.
#
When thetirepressureiscorrect, unscrew
thefilling hose from thevalveofthe sealed
tire.
#
Screw thevalvecap ontothe valveofthe
sealed tire.
#
Pull thetiresealant bottle out of thetire
inflation compressor.
The filling hose staysonthe tiresealant bot‐
tle.
#
Drivetothe nearestqualified specialistwork‐
shop and have thetire, tiresealant bottle
and filling hose replaced there.
