Programme cancellations and fault messages
Problem Possible cause and remedy
Drainage fault. Clean
drain filter and pump.
Check the drain
hose.
The water outlet is blocked or restricted.
The drain hose has been fixed too high.
Clean the filters and the drain pump.
The maximum drain height is 1m.
Water intake fault.
Turn on the tap.
The water inlet is blocked or restricted.
Check whether the tap is turned on properly.
Check whether the inlet hose is kinked.
The water pressure is too low.
Switch on the Low water pressuresetting (see
“Supervisor level - Low water pressure”).
The filters in the water inlet are blocked.
Clean the filters (see “Cleaning and care - Cleaning
the filters”).
Waterproof system
activated
The water protection system has reacted.
Turn off the tap.
Call Miele.
Disinfection
temperature not
reached
The required temperature was not reached during the
disinfection programme.
The washing machine has not carried out the
disinfection cycle correctly.
Start the programme again.
Fault F. If restart
fails, call Miele.
There is a fault.
Disconnect the washing machine from the mains
electricity supply.
Wait at least 2 minutes before reconnecting the
washing machine to the electricity.
Then switch the washing machine on again.
Start the programme again.
If the fault message appears again, contact Miele.
