Using for the first time

 Damage resulting from incorrect
installation and connection.
Installing and connecting the
washing machine incorrectly will
cause serious damage to property.
Please observe the instructions in
“Installation and connection”.
Emptying the drum
A swivel elbow for the drain hose and/
or assembly material may be stored in
the drum.
 Pull open the door.
 Remove the swivel elbow and
assembly material.
 Shut the door with a gentle swing.
Switching on the washing
machine
 Press the  button.
The welcome screen will light up.
When commissioning the washing
machine for the first time, you will
have to define the settings for the
daily use of the appliance. Some
settings can only be configured
during the initial commissioning
process. After that, they must be
changed by Miele.
Complete the initial commissioning
process.
These settings are also described in
“Supervisor level”.
Setting the display language
You will be asked to select the language
for the display. You can change the
language at any time (see “Supervisor
level - Language”).


 Touch the orsensor until the
language you want appears in the
display.
 Touch the sensor for the required
language.
The selected language is marked with a
frame and the display will change to the
next setting.
