To Change the Network Name and Password
For the 5 GHz band:
1 Select and delete the old Network Name, then type in the new
Network Name.
2 Click the Save button.
3 You can click the Show Key box to check your typing for Password.
4 Select and delete the old Password, then type in the new Password.
5 Click the Save button.
For the 2.4 GHz band:
6 Select and delete the old Network Name, then type in the new
Network Name.
7 Click the Save button.
8 You can click the Show Key box to check your typing for Password.
9 Select and delete the old Password, then type in the new Password.
10 Click the Save button.

Be sure to write down and save the new wireless network names and
passwords in a place where you can easily find it. One approach is to write
them on a small piece of paper and tape it on the bottom of your cable
modem. Some people like to take a picture of the settings with their phone,
which is fine as long as long as they save it in a place where they are sure to
find it when they need it.
