WARNING
Do not use ballast systems other than those
indicated.
Do not ballast the tractor unnecessarily; not only is
it superfluous, it can also damage the tractor.
WARNING
With mounted implements fitted to the rear of the
tractor, it is a good idea to fit a minimum 20% extra
weight on the front axle.
STATIC WEIGHT DISTRIBUTION ON THE TRACTOR -- Fig. 61
Add or remove ballast from the tractor once it is fully
equipped, until a balanced static weight distribution
is achieved for the implement actually used, taking
care not to exceed the maximum operating weights
given on page 3--55.
The weight distribution percentages given for the
four--wheel drive models are indicative only and
relate to the total weight of the fully equipped tractor
complete with ballast.
