Inspecting the hub cover
- Check that the fitting surface is not dented or dis-
torted.
- If faults are found, replace the hub cover.
Refitting the driven pulley shaft bearing
- Support the inner track of the bearing from the
outside of the hub cover with the specific tool posi-
tioned under the press and insert the driven pulley
axle.
- Refit the oil seal flush with the cover.
Specific tooling
020452Y Tube for removing and refitting the
driven pulley shaft
• Heat the hub cover and insert the bearing with
the specific punch.
• Fit the snap ring with the concave or radial part
on the bearing side.
N.B.
FIT THE BALL BEARING WITH THE SHIELD
FACING THE OIL SEAL.
