FRONT TUNNEL BULKHEAD COOLER
REMOVAL
1. Remove the following components:
Engine assembly (See Engine Removal page )
Bulkhead floor plate (See Bulkhead Floor Plate
Removal page 9.31)
Fuel tank assembly (See Fuel Tank Removal
AXYS page )
2. Drill out the rivets

securing the cooler to the top of
the tunnel.
3. Remove the fasteners
w
securing the cooler to the
sides of the tunnel.
4. Remove the cooler from the chassis.
5. Remove any residual adhesive from the tunnel and/or
cooler if it is going to be re-used.
FRONT TUNNEL BULKHEAD COOLER
INSTALLATION
NOTICE
Read and understand the following steps to ensure the
adhesive is applied correctly.
1. If installing the original bulkhead cooler, verify all of
the original adhesive is removed from the mating
surface.
2. Apply the adhesive to the bulkhead cooler. Reference
Adhesive Application Patterns page 9.23.
3. Install the cooler using new rivets

4. Install the fasteners
w
securing the cooler to the
sides of the tunnel. Torque fasteners to specification.
TORQUE
Chaincase Housing Cooler / Bulkhead Fasteners:
26 ft-lbs (35 Nm)
Replace with new when removed
CHASSIS
