SEAT BELTS
DESCRIPTION
The GEM vehicles use automotive type seatbelts at
all locations. GEM vehicles use 3-point automotive
seat belts on all models.
DIAGNOSIS AND SERVICE
Seat belts should be inspected monthly for the
following signs of wear:
1. Frayed edges on web.
2. Scores across web.
3. Obvious signs of wear on web at buckle.
4. Corrosion of any of metal parts or fasteners. If
any of these signs are present, locate and
correct cause, and replace seat belt assembly.
