5. Troubleshooting
5.1. Uninstall default Drivers to install supplied USB Drivers
The Piccolink software and the USB driver must be installed before the Equotip Piccolo 2 can be con-
nected to the computer. If the Equotip Piccolo 2 has been connected to the computer before install-
ing the supplied USB driver, default drivers may need to be uninstalled before installing Piccolink:
• Connect device to the computer.
• Open the Windows device manager.
• Locate the Equotip Piccolo 2 (marked as Silicon Labs CP210x USB to UART Bridge) in the device
listing.
• Uninstall the Equotip Piccolo 2 (with right mouse click).
• Disconnect the device.
5.2. Disconnection of the Data Connection
• Do not disconnect the unit from the computer during data transfer.
• If the data transfer is interrupted,
is reported.
• Re-establish connection.
5.3. Support

the user obtain available updates and other user information regularly using Piccolink / PqUpgrade
and the Proceq website www.proceq.com.
