Open Circuits
An OPEN condition reported by the RASTER indicates a
complete break in the current flow between the controller and
the valve.
NOTE: The RASTER will display an OPEN condition if
no valve solenoid is connected to the controller
station. This is normal, and the system does not need
service.
Open circuits can be caused by:
Malfunctioning valve solenoids
Field wires that have been cut or pulled loose
Loose wire connections on the controllers terminal strip or
at the valve solenoid
Damaged components on the controllers internal circuit
board
