Ifthebackbonelengthis60m(197ft)orless,thepowerconnectionpoint
maybeconnectedatanypointinthebackbone.
Largesystems
Ifthebackbonelengthisgreaterthan60m(197ft),thepowerconnection
pointshouldbeconnectedatapointthatcreatesabalancedcurrentdraw
fromeachsideofthebackbone.TheLoadEquivalencyNumber(LEN)isused
todeterminethepowerconnectionpointforthesystem.
IntheexampleabovethesystemhasanoverallLENof16,sotheoptimum
connectionpointwouldbetohave8LENeithersideoftheconnectionpoint.
