Function 18 – Inertia contribution in DEC
The inertia contribution is used to facilitate the stop of the reel in deceleration and it is calculated according
to the diameter of the reel. This function lets you set the maximum inertia contribution to add or subtract to
the adjustment close to the maximum diameter.
Press enter to access the function and the function value set is displayed.
Press up or down and set the desired value.
Press enter to confirm.
Function 25 – Activation mode for alarms
Use this function to set the mode with which the instrument signals having exceeded the alarm thresholds
specified in function 26 and in function 27.
Press enter to access the function and the function value set is displayed.
Press up or down to select:
- 0 : alarms are not active;
- 1 : if wanting the instrument to signal when the diameter is more than the value set in function
26 and when the diameter is more than the value set in function 27 ;
- 2 : if wanting the instrument to signal when the diameter is less than the value set in function 26
and when the diameter is more than the value set in function 27 ;
Press enter to confirm.
Function 26 – First alarm threshold
Use this function to set a diameter value at which a first alarm signal is desired.
Press enter to access the function and the function value set is displayed.
Press up or down to set the diameter value at which you desire to have the first alarm signal.
Press enter to confirm.
When the diameter exceeds this threshold, the display, out of programming, alternately shows the diameter
and the word “ALL.0”.
Function 27 – Second alarm threshold
Use this function to set a diameter value at which a second alarm signal is desired.
Press enter to access the function and the function value set is displayed.
Press up or down to set the diameter value at which you desire to have the second alarm signal.
Press enter to confirm.
When the diameter exceeds this threshold, the display, out of programming, alternately shows the diameter
and the word “ALL.1”.
Function 28 – Alarms displaying
Use this function to enable to show the alarms, if they are active, on the instrument display.
Press enter to access the function and the function value set is displayed.
Press up or down to set 0 if you don’t want to visualise the alarms or 1 if you want to display alternately
the diameter, if there is an active alarm, and “ALL.0” or “ALL.1”, according to the threshold exceeded.
Press enter to confirm.
Function 30 – Setting the diameter input
Use this function to set the type of input (AIN0 or AIN1) from which the diameter reference will be acquired.
Consequently, the remote set point will be acquired from the other available input.
Press enter to access the function and the function value set is displayed.
