Connecting External Equipment
The format of i.LINK output and USB output cannot be set independently. The format set using
[OUTPUT FORMAT] applies to both i.LINK and USB output.
Connect a computer or video deck via i.LINK. Use an i.LINK cable to connect the
computer or video deck to the [i.LINK OUT] connector on the rear panel.

Connect a computer via USB. Use a USB cable to connect the computer to the [USB]
connector on the rear panel.

A short while after making the connection, communication between the VC-30HD and
the computer starts, and the standard driver for the operating system is loaded. The VC-
30HD is recognized as a USB video device or audio device.
Supported Operating System
You can make a connection to a computer running Windows 7.
* Connection and operation of the VC-30HD with standard-specification computers running
Windows 7 have been verified, but connection and operation with all computers satisfying these
conditions is not assured. Connection or operation may be impossible due to differences in
setting specifications or the usage environment that are specific to the equipment.
