Enquiry calls, toggling, conference
You can speak with up to two external parties.
Enquiry calls
With this function you can call a second number whilst the person on the first number
is put on hold. Requirement: You are on an external call.
After a conversation lasting approx. 8 secs.:
Toggling
You can talk with two different external parties in turn (toggle). The active connection
is displayed.
Requirement: You are on an external call and have then called a second number
(Enquiry calls, page 21).

Press display key to open menu.

EXTN CALL OK
Confirm. The previous call is held. The caller hears a
message.
Enter the number of the second party. The phone
number is dialled.
You are linked with the second party.
If the second party does not answer, you can toggle
back to the first party by pressing in sequence the
keys
S and 1.
End enquiry call:

MENU
Press display key to open menu.
[__________] [______________________________________________] [__________]
END CALL OK
Select and confirm. You are reconnected with the
first party.

◆ You can also set up an enquiry call by pressing key S.
◆ You can also take the phone number for the second party from the
directory h (page 27) or the caller list Û (page 29).
◆ Once you have taken the second call you can toggle between the two
calls (see below), or talk with both parties at the same time (see Con-
ference below).
