12.3. Logical Connection between SICAM TOOLBOX II and
SICAM TM
For engineering there must be a logical connection to those automation unit, which is subject
of engineering. Following two cases are differentiated:
· Engineering of a local automation unit
(that is that one, to which an physical connection exists)
Attention
A first initialization of the automation unit is only possible in this way.
· Engineering of a remote automation unit
(automation unit, which can be accessed via a local automation unit; a continuous remote
communication according to IEC 60870-5-101 or -104 is required)
