4.2.3. Installing Patch Plugs and SIMs
On the main board there are 4 slots (X24-X27) for patch plugs and 2 slots for SIMs. The slots
X24 and X25 are reserved for SIM0 and X26 and X27 are reserved for SIM1.
First the patch plugs must be fitted, since their slots are hidden after installing SIM0. If a
second SIM (on slot SIM1) is installed later in a master control element, SIM0 must be
removed in order to reach the patch plugs for SIM1.
Attention
With the CP-6003 master control element the danger exists that patch plugs could be fitted incorrectly,
since no
mechanical protection exists against distorted installation. This protection is available in CP-6010
and CP-6014.

marked with 1.
