A.1.3.6 PROFINET with 2 controllers
Control Unit settings
Note
Operation with two controllers is only possible in conjunction with an F-CPU.
SINAMICS allows 2 control systems to be connected simultaneously to a Control Unit via
PROFINET, e.g. an automation controller (A-CPU) and a safety controller (F-CPU).
SINAMICS supports, for this communication, PROFIsafe standard telegrams 30 and 31, as
well as Siemens telegrams 901 and 902 for the safety controller.
