MAVO1 is the distance where aorta starts opening;
MAVO2 is the distance where aorta stops opening;
AA is the aorta posterior wall motion amplitude.
Measurement method:
1. In M or B/M mode frozen state, press the【Calc】key to pop up the
Meas & Calc menu in M mode, move the trackball, use the cursor to
select “AV measurement “ , press the 【SET】key to confirm going to
AV measurement mode.
2. Measure AOD, see “3.6.3.1 Distance Measurement” for the specific
measurement.
3. Measure LAD, see “3.6.3.1 Distance Measurement” for the specific
measurement.
4. Measure AVD, see “3.6.3.1 Distance Measurement” for the specific
measurement.
5. Measure ET, see “3.6.3.1 Distance Measurement” for the specific
measurement.
6. Measure RVOTD, see “3.6.3.1 Distance Measurement” for the
specific measurement.
7. Calculate AA, and the measurement and calculation result is
displayed in the result window.
8. Repeat steps 1 to 7 to perform the next measurement.
