Getting started

Adjusting the viewfinder and the LCD monitor

Images are displayed on the viewfinder or the LCD

monitor.

Press FINDER/LCD to select whether you want to

display the image on the viewfinder or the LCD

monitor.

Viewfinder

Adjust the angle to your preference (1), and move

the viewfinder lens adjustment lever until the image

becomes clear (2).

Note

• You may see primary colors shimmering in the viewfinder

when you move your line of sight. This is not a malfunction.

The shimmering colors will not be recorded on the memory

card.

Tip

• You can adjust the brightness of viewfinder with [Viewfinder

Bright.] on the menu.

LCD monitor

Open the LCD monitor (1), then rotate it to your

preference (2).

Note

• The LCD monitor rotates up to 90 degrees in the vertical

direction. Do not try to rotate it further. Doing so may

damage the LCD monitor.

Tip

• You can adjust the brightness of LCD monitor with [LCD

Brightness] on the menu.
