3-5 Dual Play Mode
3-5-1 Overview of the Dual Pla y Mode
In Dual Play mode, you can set items such as the IN and OUT points, the
playback port information for KEY signal material, and material to which you
want to add effects. This mode allows you to load or unload material in a
single operation, and perform the synchronized playback of two set materials.
Moreover, you can specify an image as the foreground effect (the image is
entered when the effect is enabled) and another as the background effect. An
“alias” is a data structure that contains information about these two different
types of material, and is configured as follows.
All alias settings can be made in the Alias Sheet dialog box. For details, see Section 3-
7-8, “Alias Sheet Dialog Box” (page 3-61).
Note
You can create up to 400 alias settings.
Selecting Dual Play Mode
To select the Dual Play mode, hold down the MODE button, and then press
function key L4.
IN point, OUT point, duration
Loop
Sets the alias name.
Specifies whether loop playback is enabled or
not.
Makes IN and OUT point, duration, and port
settings for the material specified as the
foreground.
