DISASSEMBLY / REASSEMBLY
DISASSEMBLY
NOTE:
For correct assembly, scribe an alignment mark on each part of
fuel pump.
1. Remove four screws 1 and valve body assembly 2.
2. Turn piston 3 until pin 4 comes out through cutaway of
pump body 5.
3. Remove following parts :
•Pin4
• Piston 3
• Spring 6
• Diaphragm 7
• Spring 8

ASSEMBLY
Assembly is reverse order of disassembly with special atten-
tion the following steps.
NOTE:
After connecting diaphragm rod

to piston
3
with pin
4
, align
projection of diaphragm to groove of pump body by turning pis-
ton
3
and diaphragm
7
together. Turning them together pre-
vents pin from coming out through pump body
5
cutaway.
