FRONT BRAKE LEVER PLAY
Check the front brake lever play. If the play is out of specifica-
tions, loosen the lock nut
1 and turn the adjuster
2 to obtain
the specified play.
$ Front brake lever play: 0.1 – 0.3 mm (0.004 – 0.012 in)
REAR BRAKE PEDAL HEIGHT
• Loosen the lock nut
1 and rotate the adjusting bolt
2 to
locate brake pedal 10 mm (0.4 in)
A below the top face of the
footrest.
• Retighten the lock nut
1 to secure the adjusting bolt
2 in the
proper position.
$ Brake pedal height
A: 0 – 10 mm (0 – 0.4 in)
• By repositioning the adjusting nut
3 on the brake lod, set the
pedal play to between 20 – 30 mm
B as measured at pedal
tip.
$ Brake pedal free travel
B: 20 – 30 mm (0.8 – 1.2 in)
