NOTE:
Two kinds of gearshift forks (
A,
B) are used. They resemble
each other very closely in external appearance and configura-
tion. Carefully examine the illustration for correct installing posi-
tions and directions.
NOTE:
Position the gearshift cam as shown so that the gearshift fork
shafts can be installed easily.
Wipe both crankcase mating surfaces with a cleaning solvent.
Apply SUZUKI BOND “1207B” uniformly to the mating surface
of the right crankcase and assemble the cases within a few
minutes.

Install the dowel pins into the left half of the crankcase.
Apply engine oil to the conrod big end and transmission
gears.
