Belt tension spec-
ification
11–14 mm (0.43–0.55 in.) as
deflection
NOTE:
When replacing belt with new one, adjust belt ten-
sion to 10–12 mm (0.40–0.47 in.)
3) If the belt is too tight or too loose, adjust it to specifi-
cation by adjusting alternator position.
4) Tighten alternator adjusting bolt and pivot bolt.
5) Connect negative battery lead to battery.
