Child restraint system
WARNING
DO NOT carry baby, infant and chil-
dren on the front passenger seat.
Otherwise, it is a violation of the leg-
islation.
CAUTION
Adjust the height of the head
restraint or remove it for fitting the
child restraint, as necessary. How-
ever, if a booster cushion not
equipped with the backrest or the
head restraint is fitted, the seat head
restraint should not be removed. If
the head restraint is removed for fit-
ting the child restraint, you need to
install it again after removing the
child restraint.
If the child restraint is fitted improp-
erly, a child sitting in it could be
injured in a collision. (Refer to
“Installation with lapshoulder seat
belts” section, “Installation with ISO-
FIX type anchorages” section and
“Installation of child restraint with
top tether” section in “FOR SAFE
DRIVING” section for details.)
