9.5 DDNS
9.5.1 Overview
DDNS normally interworks with port forwarding, DMZ host and remote management, so that the
internet users can be free from the influence of dynamic WAN IP address and access the internal
server or the router’s web UI with a fixed domain name.
To access the configuration page, log in to the web UI of the router, and choose Advanced > DDNS.
This function is disabled by default. When it is enabled, the page is shown as below.
Parameter description
It specifies whether to enable the DDNS function.
It specifies a DDNS service provider, including oray.com, 88ip.cn and dyn.com.
It specifies the user name and password registered on a DDNS service provider's website
for logging in to the DDNS service.
It specifies the domain name you applied on the website of your service provider.
It is only required when dyn.com is chosen as the service provider.
It specifies the current connection status of the DDNS service.
