Brake Switch (Used on 2000 and
Later Hydrostatic Models)
Purpose
This double pole plunger type switch has four
terminals. When the brake pedal is depressed, it
completes the safety circuit for start. On tractors with
cruise control, the cruise control circuit is connected to
the brake switch. When the brake pedal is depressed,
the switch opens and the cruise control magnet
disengages.
Location
The neutral switch is located under the tractor, on the
right side of the steering sector mount, above the brake
assembly arm (Figure 245).
