qt)withthelter.
Viscosity:Usethefollowingengineoilviscosity
grade:
•Preferredoil:SAE15W-40(above0°F)
•Alternateoil:SAE10W-30or5W-30(all
temperatures)
ToroPremiumEngineOilisavailablefromyour
authorizedTorodistributorineither15W-40or10W-30
viscositygrades.
CheckingtheEngine-OilLevel
ServiceInterval:Beforeeachuseordaily
Thebesttimetochecktheengineoiliswhenthe
engineiscoolbeforeithasbeenstartedfortheday.
Iftheenginehasalreadybeenrun,allowtheoilto
drainbackdowntothesumpforatleast10minutes
beforechecking.
IftheoillevelisatorbelowtheAddmarkonthe
dipstick,addoiltobringtheoilleveltotheFullmark.
Donotoverlltheenginewithoil.
Important:Checktheengineoildaily.Ifthe
engine-oillevelisabovetheFullmarkonthe
dipstick,theengineoilmaybedilutedwithfuel.If
theengine-oillevelisabovetheFullmark,change
theengineoil.
Important:Keeptheengine-oillevelbetweenthe
upperandlowerlimitsonthedipstick.Theengine
mayfailifyourunitwithtoomuchortoolittleoil.

theoiltowarmup.
2.Withthemachineparkedonalevelsurface,
engagetheparkingbrake,shutofftheengine,
removethekey,andwaitforallmovingpartsto
stopbeforeleavingtheoperatingposition.
