PreparingtheMachine
Important:Donotusebrackishorreclaimed
watertocleanthemachine.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface;engagethe
parkingbrake;shutofftheengine;removethe
key;andwaitforallmovementtostopbefore
leavingthemachine.
2.Thoroughlycleanthemachine,cuttingunit,and
engine.
Important:Donotusehigh-pressurewater
neartheelectricalcontrolsorcabseals,as
thismaycausedamage.
3.Checkandadjusttheairpressureinthetires;
refertoCheckingtheTireAirPressure(page
24).
4.Checkthehydrauliclinesandhoses;repair
themasnecessary.
5.Checkthehydraulic-uidlevel;refertoChecking
theHydraulic-FluidLevel(page58).
6.Remove,sharpen,balance,andinstallthe
cutting-unitblades.
7.Checkforloosefastenersandtightenthemas
necessary.
8.Lubricateallgreasettingsandapplyoiltopivot
points.Wipecleananyexcesslubricant.
9.Lightlysandandusetouch-uppaintonpainted
areasthatarescratched,chipped,orrusted.
Repairanydentsinthemetalbody.
