1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,lowerthe
cuttingunit,engagetheparkingbrake,shutoff
theengine,andremovethekey.
2.Placealargedrainpanunderthehydraulic-uid
tank.
3.Removethehydraulic-tankcapanddipstick.
4.Removethedrainplug(Figure74)fromthe
bottomofthetankandletthehydraulicuidow
intothepan.

A.Usethetractionpedaltomovethemachine
forwardandbackward.
B.Usethesteeringwheeltomovethetiresall
thewaytotherightandleft.
C.Usetheliftswitchtoraiseandlowerthe
attachment(e.g.,cuttingunit).
13.Checkforleaksandshutofftheengine.
14.Checkthehydraulicuidlevelinthetank;refer
toCheckingtheHydraulic-FluidLevel(page58).

ServiceInterval:Every2years
Inspectthehydrauliclinesandhosesdailyfor
leaks,kinkedlines,loosemountingsupports,wear,
loosettings,weatherdeterioration,andchemical
deterioration.Makeallnecessaryrepairsbefore
operatingthemachine.
