Installing the Steering
Wheel
TC Models Only
Parts needed for this procedure:

Steering wheel
1
Cover
1
W asher (1/2 inch)
Procedure
1. If the cover is installed, remove it from the hub
of the steering wheel ( Figure 3 ).
2. Remove the locknut (1/2 inch) from the steering
shaft ( Figure 3 ).
3. Slide the steering wheel and washer (1/2 inch)
onto the steering shaft ( Figure 3 ).
4. Secure the steering wheel to the shaft with the
locknut (1/2 inch) and tighten it to 27 to 34 N∙m
(20 to 25 ft-lb).
5. Install the cover on the steering wheel ( Figure 3 ).
