After the login information has been verified, the Controller Status window appears, as
shown in Figure 9-1 on page 9-3.
iSTAR Ultra Controller Status Page
The first screen of the web page diagnostics is a screen that displays status information for the
selected controller. Figure 9-1 shows a portion of an iSTAR Ultra master controller status page.
The information that is displayed for a member controller is slightly different.

Status information varies and depends on the controller type and firmware version. Table 9-1
on page 9-3 lists status information for the different iSTAR controller types: iSTAR Classic,
iSTAR Pro, iSTAR eX, iSTAR Edge and iSTAR Ultra SE.
NOTE
The password that you enter for the Diagnostic Utility is different from the
one used for the ICU.
Table 9-1: Status Information Description
Item Meaning
Controller Type Whether the selected controller is a cluster master or member.
Controller Name The name assigned to the controller.
Online The online status of the controller.
Main Image The version of the firmware used by the controller.
Kernal Image The version of a secondary firmware image, used in the unusual event of corruption
or download failure of the main image.
