Power
This section provides the power requirements for the iSTAR Ultra and its components.
Electrical
Electrical ratings are dependent upon the configuration.
GCM
Power Input (12 Vdc ± 20%)
12 Vdc , 1.5 - 5.0A max.
Power Output
RS485: 12 Vdc , 1.5A max. each
ACM
Power Input (12 Vdc ± 20%)
• Vreader: 12 Vdc , 0.5 - 12.5A max.
• Vlock1: 0 - 30 Vdc , 0 - 12A max.
• Vlock2: 0 - 30 Vdc , 0 - 12A max.
Power Output
• RS485/Wiegand/AUX: 12 Vdc , 1.5A max. each
• Primary Wet Relay Out: 0 - 30 Vdc , 0.75A max. each
• Secondary Wet Relay Out: 0 - 30 Vdc , 0.75A max. each
• Secondary Dry Relay Out: 0 - 30 Vdc , 1A max. each

• 12 or 24 Vdc 32W maximum
• IEEE 802.3af (PoE) and 802at (PoE Plus), 25.5W max. LLDP supported for PoE Plus
Power Ouput
• RS485/Wiegand: 12 Vdc; The aggregate load of each pair of RS-485 and Wiegand
connections together must not exceed 750mA. Each set of Rs-485 and Wiegand can
support 750mA. Maximum combined output limit for readers and locks is 23W.
• Wet Relay: 12 or 24 Vdc (jumper selectable), 0.5A (per lock)
NOTE
The Wiegand, RS-485, and Aux ports are power limited on the ACM.
