Connecting a corded headset
You can connect a headset with a 2.5 mm jack plug to the left side of your hand-
set.
1. To do this, open the rubber cover using your finger nail and bend it outward.
2. Insert the jack plug into the socket.
The headset volume corresponds to the setting for the earpiece volume
 Page 57.
Use a Bluetooth headset for Ex-proof equipment,  Page 52.
Connecting a USB data cable
You can connect a USB data cable into the port under the battery cover of your
handset.
1. To do this, open the battery cover, as when inserting the battery  Page 12.
2. Insert the mini-USB plug into the socket.
Not for OpenStage M3 Ex and OpenStage M3 Ex Plus!

The USB cable must not be connected in Ex zones!
