9 Disassembly and disposal
9.1 Taking the warewasher out of operation for long production stops
If the warewasher is taken out of operation for long periods (company holidays, seasonal operation), carry out the follow-
ing steps:
Ø Use the drainage programme to empty the warewasher.
Ø Clean the warewasher.
Ø Leave the door open in the detent position.
Ø Close the on-site water supply.
Ø Switch off the on-site mains isolation switch.
If the warewasher is in a place that is not frost-free:
Ø Instruct an authorised service technician to make the warewasher frost-free.
9.2 Disassembly
Ø Remove any wash items and baskets from the warewasher.
Ø Empty the warewasher completely.
Ø Disconnect the warewasher from the on-site electrical connection.
Ø Disconnect the warewasher from the on-site water supply.
Ø Disconnect the warewasher from the on-site water disposal.
Ø Disassemble the table system.
Ø Disassemble the exhaust air system, if present.
9.3 Disposal
Incorrect or negligent disposal can cause considerable environmental pollution and/or damage.
Ø For hazardous substances, please observe the disposal regulations listed in the safety data sheets.
Ø Disposal according to national regulations.
