6. Technical Data
Print Rates
Use the Productivity Setting to optimize the throughput speed for
the weight of the paper you are using.
Selecting Single Paper Weight sets the Fuser temperature to
160
o
C, which optimizes the throughput speed for light and
heavy weight papers, according to the weight range that is set
in the paper tray, and uses less power.
Selecting Mixed Paper Weight sets the Fuser temperature to
175
o
C, which optimizes the throughput speed for mixed paper
weights from different paper trays, and uses more power.
Refer to the Administrator Guide, page 2-10 to change the setting.
The following chart illustrates the print speeds for the two modes
using 8.5x11” or A4 paper fed LEF.
*ppm = prints per minute
The Average Monthly Print Volume (AMPV) is 70,000 for 8.5 x 11
in/A4 standard paper.
