3.1nstall:
•
Timing
chain tensioner

Installation
steps:
• Remove the tensioner cap
bolt
CD,
washer
® and spring @.
• Release the
timing
chain
tensioner
one-
way
cam @ and push the
tensioner
rod ®
all the
way
in.
• Install the tensioner
®
with
a
new
gasket
into
the cylinder.
Bolts
(timing
chain tensioner):
12
Nm
(1.2 m • kg, 8.7
ft
• Ib)
A
WARNING
Always
use a
new
gasket.
•
Install the spring, washer and cap bolt.

sprocket plate is aligned
with
the hole in
the sprocket.
• Use
the
sheave holder @
to
hold
the
rotor.

Alignment
marks
If
the
marks
do
not
align

Adjust.
6.Measure:
• Valve clearance
Out
of
specification

Adjust.
Refer

"VALVE CLEARANCE ADJUST-
