TRANSMISSION INSTALLATION
1.Tighten:
• Torx screws (bearing retainer)

~25 Nm (2.5 m . kg, 18.1 it . Ib) I
Use #40 torx screw wrench.
2.Lock the
torx screw head with drift punch.
3.lnstall:
• Shift cam
CD
• Shift fork 2 "c" ®
• Shift fork 3 IIR" ®
• Shift fork 1 "L" @
• Guide bar 1 ®
• Guide bar 2 ®
NOTE: _
The number stamped into the shift fork
must always face towards the right side of
the crankcase. Be sure that the shift fork
guide pin is properly seated in the shift
drum groove.
4.Check:
• Shift operation
Unsmooth operation
---) Repair.
NOTE: _
• Oil each gear and bearing thoroughly.
• Before assembling the crankcase, be sure
that the transmission is in neutraland that
the gears turn freely.
