Launchcontrol
Launchcontrol supports the rider
in maintaining the ideal engine
speed for a race start. Launch-
control can only be activated in
the DYNAMIC and DYNAMIC PRO
riding modes.

After the clutch is engaged, the
torque is controlled such that
maximum drive is generated on
the rear wheel. The throttle grip
remains in full-throttle position in
the process. If a maximum speed
is exceeded, the engine speed
limitation is turned off.
Top speed
37 mph (60 km/h)
The DTC system is turned off
while Launchcontrol is active.
Launchcontrol is also turned off
under the following conditions:
Third gear is engaged.
Angle becomes greater than
30°.
Engine or ignition is turned off.
Mode is changed.
The number of consecutive
starts with Launchcontrol is
limited in order to protect the
clutch. The number of starts still
possible is shown in the display.

CAUTION
Launch Control allows max-
imum acceleration, which
could cause unfamiliar rid-
ing situations.
Risk of injury due to increased
acceleration.
Only use Launch Control on
race tracks.
Switch on riding mode
DYNAMIC or DYNAMIC PRO.
Bring motorcycle in start posi-
tion.
Vehicle is standing, engine is
running.
