Squeeze locking levers to-
gether and remove lid of the
fuse box 1.
To replace main fuse, remove
lid 2 of the relay box.
Pull faulty fuse up and out of
fuse box.
NOTICE
If the fuses blow frequently, have
the electrical system checked by
an authorized specialized work-
shop, preferably an authorized
BMW Motorrad retailer.
Replace fuse
Replace faulty fuse with a fuse
with the required current level.
NOTICE
An overview of the fuse assign-
ment and the required amper-
ages is provided in the chapter
"Technical Data". The numbers
in the graphic match the fuse
numbers.
Close fuse cover.
Locking mechanism audibly
engages.
Install passenger seat ( 63).
Data link connector
Removing the diagnostic
connector
CAUTION
Incorrect procedure followed
when disconnecting the data
link connector for the On-
Board Diagnostics.
Motorcycle experiences malfunc-
tions
Only have the data link con-
nector disconnected by a spe-
cialist workshop or other autho-
rized persons during your next
BMW Service appointment.
Have the work performed by
appropriately trained staff.
Refer to the vehicle manufac-
turer specifications.
