4.2 Plug socket
Prior to the initial commissioning, make sure the mains
voltage coincides with the voltage specified on the po-
wer supply unit (use the power supply cable provided).
i The scope of delivery only includes the German
power supply cable.

4.3 Securing the stylus
The stylus can be secured to the laptop using the
string.

4.4 Configuration of the operating system
1. Supply the DCU 220 with voltage by way of the
power supply unit.
2. Switch on DCU 220.
3. After switching on for the first time, select the
Windows operating system language via the language
selection menu and follow the on-screen instructions.
i The on-screen keyboard can be opened in the
"Ease of Access Center" window (Icon ).
4. Select the wireless network (WLAN) of the work-
shop in the "Connect" window.
i You can also skip this step and perform it later
under Win 10.
5. When selecting a network, enter the network
security code via the USB keyboard or on-screen
keyboard.
A connection with the network is established.
6. In the "Get going fast" window, select <Use express
settings>.
7. In the "Select connection type" window, select
<Join a local active directory domain>.
The "Create account for this PC" window.
8. Enter user name via on-screen keyboard or USB
keyboard.
i We recommend you use a security password for
DCU 220.
9. Press <Next> to install the Windows operating
system.
The Win 10 start screen appears after some
time.
" The adjustment of the Windows operating system is
complete.
4.5 Software installation
Depending on the use, the Boschuser softwaremust
then be installed. The corresponding installation inst-
ructions can be found in the directions for the respec-
tive Bosch products.
