Alarm condition A High EtCO
2
alarm will be given when the measured
EtCO
2
exceeds the alarm limit for 30 seconds.
Possible cause
Alarm limit is set too low.
Breath Rate too low.
Delivered Tidal Volume too low.
Excessive dead space between patient and exhalation valve/
leakage port.
Exhalation valve / leakage port is occluded.
Setting range 1 to 99 mmHg
Off
Setting resolution 1 mmHg
Ventilator action The ventilator will continue treatment with the same settings.
This alarm requires a connected EtCO
2
sensor
