3. Loosen (2) ¼ - 20 Gib set screws on the left side at the
rear of the column support.
HEX "L" WRENCH

4. Elevate, and then lower the Arm: (a) if the column
binds and elevation is difficult loosen two 5/16- 18
plated nuts on front side of the column support until
you achieve smooth but firm elevation. (b) If the
column moves side-to-side within the column support,
tighten the two 5/!6 - 18 plated nuts until movement
disappears - elevation should be smooth and firm.
5. Now tighten the (2) ¼ - 20 Gib set screws until no
noticeable rotational play exists between Column Tube
and Column Support.
6. Recheck elevation and re-adjust if necessary.
7. Replace Column Support trim.
STEP THREE
SQUARING CROSS CUT TRAVEL (CARRIAGE
TRAVELS IN A STRAIGHT LINE).
1. Index but do not lock arm at 0 ° miter.
2. Install saw blade as shown. Motor shaft has left hand
threads.
