About Your System
Accessing System Features During Start-up
Keystroke Description
<F2> Enters the System Setup program. See "Using the System Setup
Program and UEFI Boot Manager" on page 127.
<F10> Enters the
LifeCycle Controller or utility partition on your system
from
which you can access utilities such as system diagnostics, or install
operating systems that support UEFI.
NOTE: LifeCycle Controller is supported on M610, M610x, M710,
M710HD, and M910.
<F11> Boot Mode set to BIOS: Enters the BIOS Boot Manager, which allows
you to select a boot device.
Boot Mode set to UEFI: Enters the UEFI Boot Manager, which
enables you to manage your system’s boot options.
<F12> Enters PXE boot (if enabled in System Setup program).
<Ctrl><E> Enters the remote access utility, which allows access to the system
event log (SEL) and configuration of remote access to the system.
<Ctrl><C> Enters the SAS Configuration Utility. See your SAS adapter
documentation for more information.
<Ctrl><R> Enters the RAID configuration utility. For more information, see the
documentation for your RAID card.
<Ctrl><S> Enters the utility to configure NIC settings for PXE boot. For more
information, see the documentation for your integrated NIC.
