Setting the Tamping Force and
Polishing Duration (TAMP SET)
Note:
This function is for advanced users only.
Adjusting tamp parameters allows for
fine tuning of coffee tamping force and
polishing duration.
1. Press the MENU button to switch to
program mode.
2. Turn the SELECT dial, until “TAMP
SET” is flashing at the bottom line of
the LCD display.
3. Press the SELECT dial. The tamp force
setting will flash.
4. Turn the SELECT dial to the desired
setting 1 to 9.

5. Press the SELECT dial. The current
polishing time will flash on the LCD
display.
6. Turn the SELECT dial to select 2–10
seconds.
7. Press the SELECT dial to set. The
Espresso Machine will beep once to
confirm your selection, and will return
to standby mode.

Programming the Pre-Infusion
Note:
This function is for advanced users only.
You can control pressure and duration
of the low pressure pre-infusion phase.
1. Press the MENU button to switch to
program mode.
2. Turn the SELECT dial, until “PRE
INFUSE” is flashing at the bottom line
of the LCD display.
3. Press the SELECT dial. The pressure
setting (% of the maximum pressure)
will flash.
4. Turn the SELECT dial to increase or
decrease the pre-infusion pressure.
5. Press the SELECT dial to set. The pre-
infusion duration will flash on the LCD
display.
6. Turn the SELECT dial to select 2–10
seconds.
7. Press the SELECT dial to set. The
Espresso Machine will beep once to
confirm your selection, and switches
back to standby mode.
