Patient Cable Connectors
All patient cable connectors
are located on the side of the
monitor.
Definition of Terms
Hardwire: This means that
the ECG signal is being
acquired from a cable
attached to the patient and
connected to a bedside
monitor.
Telemetry: This means that
the ECG signal is being
acquired from a telemetry
transmitter/transceiver. This
patient is able to ambulate
without being limited by a
cable.
TTX: Refers to a telemetry
transmitter/transceiver.
