Hybrid SAN
5.2.1 Start Hybrid SAN
Purpose:
You can start Hybrid SAN after private volumes are created.
Before you start:
1. Add HDDs to storage pool for single-HDD mode, or create arrays and add them to storage pool for array mode.
2. Create at least 5 LUNs. Ensure at least 4 of them are larger than 20 GB. The four LUNs are used to create
private volume, reserved volume. Other LUNs are used to create record volume.
If record volume size is less than 120 TB, then private volume 1 and private volume 2 size should both
be larger than 50 GB.
If record volume size ranges from 120 TB to 180 TB, then private volume 1 and private volume 2 size
should both be larger than 60 GB.
If record volume enlarges by 60 TB, record volume 1 and record volume 2 should both enlarge by 10 GB.
Steps:
1. Go to Hybrid SAN > Hybrid SAN.
2. Click Configure Hybrid SAN.
3. Click Configure Private Volume.
