Hybrid SAN
5.2.1 Start Hybrid SAN
Purpose:
You can start Hybrid SAN after private volumes are created.
Before you start:
1. Add HDDs to storage pool for single-HDD mode, or create arrays and add them to storage pool for array mode.
2. Create at least 5 LUNs. Ensure at least 4 of them are larger than 20 GB. The four LUNs are used to create
private volume, reserved volume. Other LUNs are used to create record volume.
 If record volume size is less than 120 TB, then private volume 1 and private volume 2 size should both
be larger than 50 GB.
 If record volume size ranges from 120 TB to 180 TB, then private volume 1 and private volume 2 size
should both be larger than 60 GB.
 If record volume enlarges by 60 TB, record volume 1 and record volume 2 should both enlarge by 10 GB.
Steps:
1. Go to Hybrid SAN > Hybrid SAN.
2. Click Configure Hybrid SAN.
3. Click Configure Private Volume.
