5.3 Backup and Restore
Purpose:
The chapter introduces the video backup and Hybrid SAN restoring steps.
5.3.1 View Private Volume Information
Purpose:
Private volume 1 and private volume 2 are listed in Hybrid SAN > Hybrid SAN > Backup and Restore > Private
Volume Information.
5.3.2 Restore
Purpose:
When error occurs, restoring Hybrid SAN may recover it. Restoring may cause data loss, please contact technical
support for professional help.
You can restore settings in Hybrid SAN > Hybrid SAN > Backup and Restore > Execute Restoration Task.

5.3.3 Backup
Purpose:
The storage system backs up parameters of all videos every hour. You can manually back up all video parameters
according to following steps. The backed up parameters are saved in database.
The function backs up video index instead of videos.
