EMERGENCIES
WARNING
• Use the jack only for lifting the vehicle when changing wheels and lifting the
spare wheel carrier.
•
Do not jack a vehicle with a trailer attached. Remove the trailer rst.
• Do not get under a vehicle supported only by a jack, use vehicle support stands.
• Do not start or run the engine while the vehicle is only supported by the jack.
• All passengers should be out of the vehicle when it is being jacked.
• Use the jack only at the designated lifting points and spare wheel carrier.
Use in other locations may result in the vehicle falling of the jack, or damage
to the vehicle.
•
The vehicle should only be jacked on hard, level surfaces.
Changing a at tyre
• Park on level surface, ensure the wheels are pointing straight ahead and set the
park brake rmly.
•
Remove the ignition key (to lock the steering) and place the transmission shift lever
in the P (park) position (automatic) or rst or reverse gear (manual).
•
The jack and tools are secured in the luggage storage compartment.

Open the tailgate.
2. To access the jack and tools lift up on
the compartment handle and fold the
lid upward.
3.
Remove the wing bolt from the jack by
turning it anticlockwise.
4.
Remove the jack and the wheel wrench.
5. Remove the straps holding the bag
which contains the wheel wrench
and remove the wheel wrench from
the bag.
