KNOW YOUR VEHICLE
Roof rails
The roof rails can be used to carry
additional cargo, or bulky items which are
better carried outside the vehicle rather
than inside.
The roof rails are attached to the roof of
the vehicle.
Ensure the load is evenly distributed over
the rails, the roof surface must not be
subjected to any load.
Refer to Loading the vehicle in chapter 9.

WARNING
Loaded roof rails alter the vehicle’s centre of gravity, do not drive at high speeds,
always drive carefully when:
•
Cornering.
• In cross winds.
